Google has purchased FeedBurner, although the price on the sales tag was not being disclosed. Reports are that the deal is more than $100 million. Feedburner’s official blog speaks out on the transaction and all signs are that they are very excited about their future in Google’s hands.

The reasons that FeedBurner has accepted Google’s offer is for Google’s analytics capacity, advertising marketplace, and the rapid pace of innovation at Google. All FeedBurner feeds now belong to the almighty Google.
