Use of Affiliate Datafeeds
Affiliate Marketers have gained many new tools throughout the last couple of years to help market merchant’s products. The most valuable to date is the merchant datafeed. The datafeed combines a merchant’s products, price points, descriptions and more in a nice little Excel CSV sheet that can be transfered easily to your website.
Affiliates can build niche sites around one or more merchant’s datafeeds offering an attractive sell. Share a Sale offers a Make a Page functions that pulls merchant’s datafeeds and basically creates a custom affiliate page that is easy to implement on to your site. One of the most attractive elements of the datafeed is that you are sharply targeting your customer. Meaning that when a customer clicks on your affiliate link through a datafeed you have a high chance of conversion because you are offering the best pre-sell possible. Check out your affiliate network’s datafeed options and utilize datafeeds when and where possible.
