The deal between aQuantive and Microsoft in the middle of May for $6 billion is nearing its close.  The deal they are saying is just a few days away from closing and both sides are extremely happy with each other so far.

“My early fears that Microsoft would bungle the integration have vanished,” Hanauer said. “Clearly, they have done and are doing a spectacular job.”

aQuantive will still be run out of Seattle as part of Microsoft’s Business Services.
