I Don’t Like Sponsored Reviews

Posted by Rambles | Affiliate Marketing | Thursday 4 October 2007 7:28 am

The idea is good with Sponsored Reviews, but I don’t like how I make bid after bid after bid, and months later I get turned down. They should put some form of control over how long the advertiser has to make their decision.

Granted, I am not a huge fan of review services in general, but I and I used to prefer Pay per Post and Review Me over Sponsored Reviews, but I actually find that Sponsored Reviews is the best Review Service out there and it is worth signing up. Just my Two Cents.

    Hi Brian,

I like the new header image – much slicker :-)

I tend to agree with you on Sponsored Reviews. I’ve been a member for some time but have yet to write a post for them on this blog, for a number of reasons.

On a different blog I still have about three offers pending and they must be at least six months old!

I have been declined for a fair few, or the advertisers insisted on only positive reviews, or the offers were just insulting ;-) but on the whole I think that they definitely need to clean house a little.

Funnily enough, Vlad has just posted along very similar lines which you may be interested in.

Sponsored Reviews was the company that I made the most money with last year. I found that some companies would repeatedly request my services….I try to bid on those first.
