Apple has lowered the price on i-Tunes Plus songs to $.99 from $1.29. This move comes out of necessity from Apple. Amazon who has just entered the Digital Music fray has competitively priced their anti-piracy music and Apple i-Tunes had to cover their bases. With over 2 million tracks to choose from, i-Tunes Plus is the largest non-royalty music provider on the Internet. Apple had this to say:
“With the expansion of iTunes Plus, customers now can download tracks from a variety of labels without limitations on the type of music player or number of computers that purchased songs can be played on“.
