Sharper Image is in a lot of trouble. Sharper Image became complacent when it came to releasing innovative new products and they are now in a seemingly irreversible nosedive. Website sales are down over 50% as reported in October. Overall company sales are down 40% from a year ago in a tailspin that has lasted 2 years.

Black Friday is exactly one week away.  Last year, Sharper Image predicted a great Black Friday and they flopped.  This year, if they flop, everyone might be out of a job.  Christmas sales and Black Friday doorbuster sales are their only hope, but are people willing to give them a chance.
