Last Day to do Christmas Shopping Online

Since Christmas is on a Tuesday this year, expect Christmas sales for 2007 to last a little longer. Since Christmas is on the Tuesday, it gives deliveries for presents ordered online one extra day to arrive before Christmas. Still the last recommended day for shopping online for Christmas if you are using ground shipping is on December 18th. That is what a lot of popular retailers are recommending, including on of the biggest, Walmart. If you are planning on using one day shipping it is recommended that you order your Christmas presents by December 20th so that they will arrive at the latest by December 24th.
If you don’t want to cut your Christmas shopping that close you should order your presents as soon as possible. UPS, Fed Ex and USPS workers are going to be very busy over the next week or so and you don’t want to cut it to close.
