Online Holiday Sales are Up in 2007

By admin | December 28, 2007

Overall retail revenue may have only experienced a modest gain of less than 4%, but online sales have grown over 20% in 2007.  The online sector experienced enormous growth over last year thanks to great online sales on popular products coupled with shipping deals.  Wal-Mart was one of the big winners online for the holiday season offering enormous sales on Black Friday and the entire week of Cyber Monday.  Wal-mart continued to offer sales on electronics, toys and other popular items throughout the entire holiday season.  One of the losers of the holidays appear to be Sharper Image whose disappointing sales continue, despite positive reports from the company.

There are still plenty of After Christmas Sales at WalMart and other retailers, including many New Years Sales from WalMart and a Half Yearly Sale from Sharper Image.
