Yahoo is Rejecting Microsoft’s Offer - No Microhoo After All

By admin | February 9, 2008

Yahoo is not happy with Microsoft’s bid of $44.6 billion saying that Microsoft is severely under-valuing Yahoo as a company.

I think a lot of people were expecting this deal to go through, and now a week or so later, and Yahoo is telling Microsoft that they had better offer higher if they ever want there to be a Microhoo.

According to Fortune, Yahoo will be unwilling to accept an offer below $40 a share.  Jerry Yang also claims that Microsoft hasn’t even taken into consideration that the deal could be potentially blocked by regulators.

The ball is unofficially back into Microsoft’s court and they need to decide if they want to come back with a counter offer.  Stay tuned to the drama that is Microhoo.
