To be honest, I still think that you will see the biggest 2009 Black Friday sales from WalMart. In the past, WalMart has Black Friday ads that blow away most other retailers, mainly due to their deep product line, free shipping offers and low prices. Other retailers are starting to step up their games, including earlier Black Friday 2009 Ads and sales, well before Thanksgiving. WalMart has also stepped up their pre Black Friday sales this year, as have other retailers, Amazon.com, Target Black Friday 2009 Ads, Ice.com, 1800Flowers.com and many more.
Here are a few items on sale through the newly released Black Friday 2009 ad at WalMart. Also, one final note, I have already started my holiday shopping, and I would definitely recommend you do the same. There are still great deals to be had and many places have free shipping offers in place, like WalMart and Amazon.com. Now to the cool products on sale at WalMart:

Where are the 2009 Black Friday ads???????? I want to start planning

The ads themselves will be coming out in about a week. In the meantime stay posted to the site because I am continually updating sales items and I will have the Black Friday Ads up as soon as possible
How much are the ipod touch’s going to be? also will there be ipod classics on sale
An update for everyone, I will have the WalMart Black Friday 2009 ad scan later this week and I will post it as soon as I receive it. WalMart sends it directly to me and I will be one of a very select few that receives the advertisement this early so make sure you check back early and often.

Yes, Walmart did have the best Black Friday ad for 2008, but with Circuit City gone, I wonder if they are going to offer the same savings for 2009. Only thing we can hope for is a price war between Best Buy and Walmart.

I really love your website. My son recommended it to me last year for the holidays and I ended up doing most of my holiday shopping online last year. I even got a lot of my Christmas shopping done on Black Friday while online. I did shop at a few normal stores to pick some smaller items that were harder to find online, but for the most part I found it so easy to shop online compared to in stores. I know that you get in coupons from time to time and I was wondering if you could send me any black friday 2009 coupons or any other helpful hints that you received.

Yes there will still be sales after Black Friday 2009. Cyber Monday sales are very popular and there will be a number of sales events leading up to Christmas as well. The best deals online occur on Cyber Monday each year, which is the Monday after Black Friday.
Everyone gets so excited for the black friday sales but I have a problem/question. I am a physical handicapped person and my problem is that I can’t get to the areas of the sales in the stores because it is not safe, because of all the pushing, running, carts as weapons, standing in line, I’m physically unable to tolerate all of that. Are people with disabilities getting a fair shake it getting the buys? I miss out all the time. My closest child is 1500 miles away and my husband has to be at work. Do you think that this is discrimination against a certain group of people or am I just a sore loser from just never getting a really good buy? You you think I should pursue this?
Honestly Judy, I think you should do most of your holiday shopping online. Then go into the stores on Black Friday Sales weekend and do the rest when it has calmed down a bit. If you shop Black Friday sales online you have as good of a chance as anyone shopping in stores.
I agree with Rambles. Online shopping is so convenient, so easy to shop and compare – and no crazy crowds.
When (what time thursday) can you start shopping online for the black friday sales? I want to get a computer at best buy, but everything else is in one concentrated area. Ideally, I would like to purchase the computer online then campout in the more-stores populated area.
It really depends. Some stores are having Thanksgiving Day Sales in addition to Black Friday sales. You might end up finding the same laptop for a lower price at another retailer, as I know that the Best Buy ad isnt the greatest this year. My advice to you is to keep your eyes peeled.
How is the online shopping managed across the time zones? When it’s midnight in the East it’s 9 PM on the West coast. Would the ads be available at 9 PM Pacific?
Good question Nick. Each site does it differently. I know that Sears runs their site and sales off of central time. It seems like most sites generally go by eastern time, so I would think that the Black Friday sales would start at 12est, 9 pct. I will see what info I can find.
I just hope that Walmart has BABY ALIVE dolls under $20.

I would definitely recommend shopping online. Most of the sales items are available online and their sales price will show up when you click on it.

I see that there is an emachine notebook listed on Walmart’s black Friday 2009 sale. I don’t seen when I click on the link for computers. Is is possible that this item is not available to view, but will be for sale or is it a typo?
It is not a typo. The Walmart Black Friday eMachine sale will be listed online sometime between now and the Day After Thanksgiving. This will be the case for a lot of products.

Most items that are in store will be available online at 5am. There will be more online only Black Friday 2009 sales than in store only sales

Personally i’m going to try to avoid the crowds this year and do most of my Black Friday Sales shopping online.

The Walmart Black Friday Sale starts online at 1am pacific time, 4am eastern time. You can start shopping the Thanksgiving Day Sale at Walmart right now though
