My mom is actually out of the country right now serving a mission for her church so I thought a gift basket would be the perfect gift for her. I filled the basket with some of her favorite things from the states. It gives a personal touch and sends my love. I only wish I could present it to her in person. And I must admit that I love getting presents. Mother's Day is the perfect time for giving presents. My mother has Alzheimer's Disease, but--thank goodness-she still knows my siblings and me when we visit her, and she loves getting presents, especially those with food--chocolates, cookies, cheeses, etc. One of the ways that I can cheer my mother up when I can't be there is to send her a gift basket. My son has recently begun his own gift basket business—adamsbasketcase.com. He has such a variety of themed baskets that are perfect to send to my mother for many different occasions. As a mother I am so proud of him, and as a daughter I can make my mother happy with such a personalized gift. I am a mother. And I must admit that I love getting presents.
