I worked for Denver Fabrics in the cyber portion of the company. I was the Affiliate Manager, handled advertising, and I also ran our SEO campaign. I graduated in 2006 from the University of Denver with a BS in Marketing.
I always wanted to have a career that was related to sports, as sports are my passion. Going through college I realized a great way to make a career for myself that was related to sports was to become a “Sport’s Marketer”. Little did I realize that Sports Marketing is one of the toughest fields to get into. My dream is to work for the Los Angeles Kings, but it will take a lot of hard work and marketing experience to get me into my dream position.
I have tried to find jobs that will offer me this supposed experience. However, Denver has one of the worst entry-level job markets in the United States, leaving me very few options. All these options have on thing in common. They were all sales jobs. I worked in sales for about a year (most of 2006), working for Sharper Image and Video Professor to name a couple.
I have just moved back to California (where I was born and raised) after many years in Denver. I have just moved to Ventura County and I look forward to the adventures that lay ahead.
