Online Advertising Revenue up 27%

Online advertising is up 27% with revenues of over $10 billion in the first half of 2007.  Search Marketing Accounted for $4.1 billion of all online advertising revenue.  Rich media and video ads accounted for over $3 billion of online advertising revenue.

Microsoft Buys Shopping Portal Jellyfish.com

Microsoft makes the newest purchase of the summer.  They snatched up the shopping portal, Jellyfish.com.  Jellyfish.com takes part of their profit from advertisers and offers rebates to its customers on the products they purchase.
Jellyfish.com will support Microsoft’s Live Search, just as Yahoo has Yahoo Shopping, and Google has its own version of Pay per action.  [...]

Amazon’s ClickRiver PPC Contextual Ads Offered to Publishers

Amazon, Inc. has been using ClickRiver PPC contextual advertising for their search results since 2006.  Thus far it has been a big hit, offering a high ROI to advertisers when compared to Google Adsense and Yahoo Publisher Network.
