Black Friday 2009 Sales Update
By admin | September 16, 2008
Welcome to your source for up to the date Black Friday 2009 sales updates. I will be updating the site frequently as I learn of more Black Friday 2009 sales, ads and any other news from retailers across the web. You can choose to receive my updates via email so that you will not miss any up to the date Black Friday 2009 sales information.
To be honest, I still think that you will see the biggest 2009 Black Friday sales from WalMart. In the past, WalMart has Black Friday ads that blow away most other retailers, mainly due to their deep product line, free shipping offers and low prices. Other retailers are starting to step up their games, including earlier sales, well before Thanksgiving. WalMart has also stepped up their pre Black Friday sales this year, as have other retailers, Amazon.com, Target, Ice.com, 1800Flowers.com and many more.
Here are a few items on sale before Black Friday 2009 at WalMart. Also, one final note, I have already started my holiday shopping, and I would definitely recommend you do the same. There are still great deals to be had and many places have free shipping offers in place, like WalMart and Amazon.com. Now to the cool products on sale at WalMart:

Walmart continues to offer some killer deals leading up to the kickoff of Black Friday 2009 at Walmart. The big deals that I have found this weekend are in the electronics section. HDTV’s & laptops are the main focus of the pre - Black Friday 2009 Walmart blowout sale, and are listed at the bottom of this post. Also, read about more pre- Black Friday 2009 deals.
While WalMart is definitely one of the retailers to keep your eye on for the upcoming Black Friday 2009 season, there are a number of other retailers that will be promoting some serious deals leading up to, and on Black Friday. Here are some of those retailers: Target, Amazon.com, jewelry from Ice.com, 1800Flowers, Omaha Steaks and for you sport’s folks, NHL.com.
Listed below are some of the deals right now at Walmart, and these deals are low enough where I think that these HDTV’s and laptop prices may not get any lower, even on Black Friday. Marketing Sherpa Releases New Affiliate Marketing Study
By admin | June 30, 2008
MarketingSherpa.com has just released their latest study on affiliate marketing networks and how they perform in the eyes of affiliates. The five affiliate networks that are included in the survey are Commission Junction, Linkshare, Performics (soon to be Google Affiliate network), Share a Sale and PepperJam.
For this affiliate marketing survey, Marketing Sherpa interviewed 41 affiliates who use more than 1 affiliate network. They asked their respondents which affiliate networks they use and which they use the most often. For those of you looking for a surprising answer … look elsewhere. Commission Junction has long been the leader in affiliate marketing and this survey shows that Commission Junction has not relinquished their hold on the affiliate marketing business. The only real surprise in this survey is that Share a Sale is used more often than both Performics and Linkshare, despite having a lower key, more niche driven merchant base. Pepperjam is a fast growing affiliate network with a little over 17% of the surveyed users promoting Pepperjam merchants. Despite Pepperjam’s growth they still remain the low man on the totem pole with the smallest market share of any of the surveyed affiliate marketing networks.
The next 3 surveys were dedicated to Commission Junction, Linkshare and Performics. The survey asked respondents to rate service on technology, customer service, merchants/advertiser clients, and payment dependability. All of the companies rated as average for customer service, although customer service was rated as the 3rd most important factor when using an affiliate network. All of the companies also rated average in terms of technology, which is the 2nd most important factor. Commission Junction rated above average (the highest score) for merchants/advertiser clients and payment dependability, while Linkshare and Performics scored averages on these two factors.
At the end of the day, Commission Junction is still the player to beat while the other two giants, Performics and Linkshare are floundering a bit. Smaller companies Pepperjam and Share a Sale are working hard with smaller clients to gain market share. In this sponsored post, I take away that people end up using Commission Junction’s affiliate network for two reasons. #1 They have great merchants and #2 They pay on time. One thing is for sure, affiliate marketing will continue to grow and affiliate networks will continue to evolve. Check back in the future to see where these same companies stand.

Save Money on Fathers Day Presents – Father’s Day Sales 2008
By admin | May 30, 2008
Can’t think of anything to get for your Dad for Father’s Day. Look no further than the many Fathers Day 2008 sales going on at multiple retailers. Although, in my opinion there are a couple of things that Fathers love to receive on Fathers Day.
One would be electronics. Find something he is interested in, TV, computers, stereos and get him something related. Simple and effective. Shop Target for their wide selection, you can’t go wrong for Target’s Father’s Day sales.
Golfing or sports is the next idea. Get your dad something sports-related that he will actually use. Check out Target or Sports Chalet for golf and sports Fathers Day presents.
The last idea is anything TV or HDTV related. I would once again visit Target for some Father’s Day HDTV ideas.
